There's only one way off the beach (towards where the picture was taken from)... the people on the beach are trapped like that until the helicopters leave.

They shouldn't all be there anyway tbh why do the council not close it or limit the amount of people?

You have no idea how that amount would look spread along the beach as you cant see how long it is? and you are quite happy for people to march in close proximity in London? You cant have it all ways Adam

its difficult to tell from those shots, families don't need to social distance and there will be natural gaps ... also it's in the open air on a warm day. The photo's dont look good though for sure

Unless every person in the bottom left is from the same household, I’d say it’s pretty damning.

Well it's not ready, so difficult to abandon something that was rushed out to try and change the conversation from Dom.

What stats :/... and what makes NHS staff less susceptible than 'ordinary' folk? Seeing as there is no vaccine where is their protection?

I read they were more at risk due to the increased viral load they are exposed to so to hear something that counters that theory would be interesting.

There was a similar shot shown on the news iit didn’t look quite so crowded, either way some people obviously don’t care and haven’t for weeks

Hmm conflicting stats here, and this info is a little out of date to the data here was compiled up to 20th April.

The major group with the highest rate of death involving COVID-19 was Elementary workers with 21.4 deaths per 100,000 males (225 deaths). The occupations in this group include those performing mostly routine tasks, such as construction workers and cleaners. The major group with the next highest rate was Caring, leisure and other service occupations (17.9 deaths per 100,000 males, or 72 deaths), which include occupations such as nursing assistants, care workers and ambulance drivers.

Of course this relates to death...bots comment related to recovery didn't it?
