Great in London some outside stations are giving free masks out.
Today is the first day in England
that if you use public transport of any kind
you must have a Mask on.

Its one of the safest environments to be in and they will be able to social distance so not sure what the issue would be with that?

Yes in some zones
it has gone above 1 on the R rate.

That 35,000 is over many days.

The Problem is the Government
are not accepting it.........................

This really is the lost year innit ...

I wouldn't even have gone to it but still.

Write off 2020 mark one, postpone 2021 until 2022!

No one can be that desperate for a new pair of trainers... surely...?

That said, we did take the kids for a Happy Meal the first day McD's opened back up, and queued for over an hour looping round a car park.

The nuggets weren't even fresh .

The queues around Nike/Sports Direct are supposed to be immense,

don't underestimate how much of a consumer society we are

both those stores are online, can really only understand people queuing up for Primark which has no online presence..

i'm staying within my bubble until i see how it all pans out. If people are happy to go out and ignore social distancing, good luck to them and their families

Primark!

I guess it's just the novelty of getting out shopping? I bought 90% of non-food-stuff online before lockdown anyway so I don't really get the appeal!
