Always the early wrestling games for me.

Smackdown 1&2 on PS1. N64’s WWF No Mercy was awesome too.

Also loved Tony Hawk, Crash Bandicoot and Ray Man.

As a child I was a bit of a point-n-click adventure junkie so I played a game through and moved on, similar to now really. Games that I poured a lot of hours into are probably things like the original Civilization, Colonization etc. and then later (early teens) the C&C games.

I've always been more of a "storyline game" player though so the vast majority of my time spent gaming would have been on games that you play through then move on.

In terms of storyline games that I played the most... I played through both FF7 and FF8 at least 5 to 10 times each in my teens . I also played MGS and Resi 2 through countless times (they're very short once you know them).

Like CHILD PS1 days? The PS1 wrestling games, Madden football, this Power Rangers game and Pokemon on the gameboy might've been my #1 those years

A bit older like into early-to-mid teenage years: Call of Duty, GTA & all the main sports games (NFL, NBA, MLB)

I think on the balance of things, probably Mario Kart 64. I'd have played the SNES from 96-98, the N64 for 98-01 and then the PS2 for 3 more years before I got bored of gaming until I turned 21.

But I've definitely played games for longer as an adult, I mean I didn't bore of GTA Online until maybe 4 years in

WHICH REMINDS ME! I left "XCOM: UFO" off of my original list somehow, and it might actually be the game I spent the MOST time on. I must have played it for thousands of hours. I had to create a DOS boot-disk with an automatic .bat file to bypass windows 95 and get it running in native DOS or else the sound (and sometimes mouse) wouldn't work . Gaming used to be such a labour of love.

And see those three little buttons on the right Those are volume up/down and mute. They were broken on mine because I went on to troll chat at 2am one night when I was maybe 11, and it was up full and started shouting "WELCOME... TO A - O - LLLL" and I panicked and hit the mute button so hard that it popped right inside. Ffff. I wish it was the 90's again.
