For the first few series it was really brilliant.

Once the Harvey’s exited it went downhill, fast. The final series was awful in comparison with the early years.

Yeah it was a decent cheap comedy early on but was the pits when they started relying on Matthew Kelly and Shane Richie etc coming on and doing painfully unfunny OTT performances.

It went from a rather accurate portrayal of Brits abroad to ridiculously cartoonish that just wasn't funny.

First two seasons were the best, when they went to the hour-long ones, they show changed style, but it was still decent til around S4. After that it became a completely different show, I still enjoyed it, but it wasn't the show it was.
