Yes, I forgot these two but only because I watched them once. Never again, it broke my heart. Though I might give it a watch again, years later I can see things differently.

A French classic. I didn't cry but I was moved. Definitely touching!

Only Click...

For some reason, just reminds me of my Dad.

And...

These two scenes will purely make this film a favourite of mine. If you've got a close relationship with your Father, you will understand.

...awww, I love the old black and whites, Joey...because there wasn’t the special effects and movie technology etc of now..?..so much was focused on the more emotional, you know, with those close ups and the tears never stopped falling with the characters...?...I couldn’t list all of my old classic ‘feel’ movies because the list would be endless......but To Kill a Mockingbird, though...and obviously the Christmas sob of it’s a Wonderful Life...both such emotional movies.....also, just moving on to technicolour...An Affair to Remember, the ending...oh Lord......gorgeous and sad at the same time...

Absolutely.
I love the black and white films.

I watched Yield To The Night, with Diana Dors a while back.
Most of it was in the prison.
It had quite an effect on me, I couldn't stop watching for a second.

I'm afraid, modern films don't grip me like those.

I think I was born way too much later than I should have been.
