I think it's likely she will be the first female president too, as I do think it's likely that Biden will step down either in 2024, or sometime before. It's too early to say for sure but I think it would be a worthy bet to say that 2024 will possibly be Kamala vs Mitt Romney.

She's imperfect, but I do think she'll probably make a better president than Biden and, without a shadow of a doubt, far superior to Trump.

Nah, the Republicans only backed Trump when it benefitted their numbers, and in the end Trump ended up alienating the middle republicans that cost him the election. If they go extreme again with their next candidate, the same thing will happen and they'll lose. There are two Senate seats up for grabs in January, I believe, so the effects of Trump could end up costing the Republicans the senate.

Republicans will go for a more moderate option that is likely to pick up swing votes and moderates and Mitt Romney has noticeably positioned himself as that kind of candidate, most likely for the purpose of candidacy down the line.

He should really save himself the time and stress, just spend the rest of his days golfing or whatever. The party won't be behind him, if there is actually any fraud (unlikely) it will be long hidden... and if he were right, the fraud was exposed, and he got his second term, America doesn't need even more riots.
