Given that positive tests haven't declined but deaths have seemingly dropped significantly, that can only really be attributed to the high booster rates in the elderly (the demographic which will encompass the majority of deaths but not the majority of infections).

I thought they said that as yet they have no idea at all if it will be resistant to our current vaccines - our vaccines may or may not be as effective against it
