I knew someone would post this to discredit him. It's easy to shout racist at people rather than look at what he is highlighting..perhaps if the social work departments around the country could work without the fear of people like slim accusing them of being racist then things like Nottingham and rotherham..and now Glasgow,may not have happened.

THAT SAID - there is a fairly big problem with people who are not homeless at all (or even doing badly in terms of finances) being part of "begging gangs" in Glasgow, and that IS a slap in the face for those who are genuinely homeless and need help, as people will only give so much. Although, my solution there would be for the homeless to be getting more PROPER help, which would make it a non-issue.

Also if he had any evidence at all that the guy he was confronting wasn't homeless surely he should have shown that, rather than expecting people to take his word for it.

I also don't buy that the lad doesn't speak English (from his reactions) however I fully understand why he would pretend not to to get rid of this arsehole.

I knew nothing about this bloke before you posted the vid, so I started watching to see what it was about. As soon as he said within the first couple of minutes, something like "I'm no racist," then I knew the purpose and where this was going.

I admire your commitment to protecting social workers and vulnerable young people, but it's a pity that the venn diagram of people constantly pushing this as a foreigner problem and not a humanity problem, and those who support tories decimating services for vulnerable young people, and services set up to protect those in need, such as social workers and childrens organisations, is one massive circle.

There are things we can do as a society to help vulnerable young people and minimise the risks, but we keep choosing a different path because it's easier to point at a brown menace, than examine what we are doing to the weakest in society, and what we will accept as long as things don't appear to directly affect us.

I don't really know anything about the begging gangs in Glasgow so i can't comment, but he starts off complaining that his mental health channel has been shut down, before going on to attack a (potential) homeless person, which is one of the groups with the most mental health issues (as well as additional and associated difficulties).

The interview is ok actually. Too long for me and a bit of machismo, but he's an ok storyteller. I've listened to a bit, I can't justify listening to hours of it though ... I wonder if he's properly thought through what he's talking about, though? Because even from a couple of his own stories... he seems to have kind of missed the fact that the actual paedophiles in his stories are the white blokes. He talks about immigrant comminities who are essentially pimping children out as prostitutes - and yes, this happens. Horrifically, it does happen. It's not even that rare - they're right about that.

BUT... he also illustrates examples in his stories... and the examples are pretty clear. The kids are being pimped out/sold for sex to white blokes. Which is the bigger problem... the soulless ghouls selling kids for sex, or the soulless ghouls buying it? The obvious conclusion is, obviously, they are both as bad as each other. The situation is horrific. But it's not a "foreign folk" problem - the market for this is predominantly middle aged gammon.

The other bloke is right. Trafficking is a massive global problem and the root of it isn't in flats in Glasgow (or Manchester, or wherever else).

And as far as white men making up the highest numbers....that's merely down to the fact there is more white men in the uk than any other demographic...

The guy you wanted us to see, has a habit of going into only one specific community at all hours, trying to find issues. If that doesn't make you question his motives, and the motives of all other saints like this, that never chase princes and the powerful, only brown people, then perhaps it should.

If this story has merit, than I hope these people are brought to justice, but the Tommy Robinsons of the world only hinder such efforts, especially when they support the right wing policies that strip money away from public services that can help prevent or stop this thing from happening.

I would say the people who hinder these things are the people who hurl the word racist at people trying thier best to highlight the issues after reporting the issues and seeing nothing done about the issues by the authorities..the authorities who are sitting in fear of being branded racist if they act.

Nah, These Tommy Robinsons aren't highlighting anything new, they aren't sole fighters for truth and justice. If it didn't suit their agendas, they wouldn't care one bit about these gangs.

The guys you idolise so much are basically vultures, making money from the monetised videos of other people's suffering, and in Robinson's case, he almost threatened justice for the victims for clicks by filming when he shouldn't have.

Your point falls apart because there is no point you're just saying 'no, u' as a response which is childish.

Also no, by pledging support to right wing governments and this government in particular, you're supporting budget cuts to vital services, less police officers, less investigations, less reach, less chance of justice. By supporting such policies and continuing to vote these people in power, it's people like you that are truly hindering the course of justice.

Most of the beggars you see at the side of he streets and at traffic lights are not voluntary part of begging gangs, most of them are slaves to thier gang masters and get picked up each morning before returning at night to be forced out again the next day.
