Not to agree with Alf ever but... I mean he does literally need a wash, I did not see a shower in the fire tower he was squatting in, he just rides about on a motorbike killing zombies all day and then sleeps in his clothes. Like he must actually ****ing stink .

I did like the character though. He's a bit whiney for the first half of the game but honestly, never before has anyone been so laid-back about a zombie apocalypse.

He also casually lobs about jars of ****ing NAPALM, with absolutely no ability or training in handling dangerous substances. That's hardcore. Like he will definitely burn himself to death by accident one day.

One of the things I did like about this game, was that I rarely used fast-travel... simply because hooning around on the motorbike was more fun. Once it's upgraded a bit anyway. It handles like a hotdog on wheels at first.

But since you're playing so far post-release and all patched up, you'll never know the joy of hitting an invisible rock at 90mph after the texture pops in at the last second right in front of your wheel . Wheeeeeeee.

Shame really, it got slammed in a few reviews for bugs like that (there were various...) BUT they actually patched it up pretty quickly, it was totally fine by about 10 days post-release.

Hmmm there are loads so I don't remember, but I know all of the biggest hordes are in the Highway 97 section, though the actual biggest is the Sawmill horde that you see as part of the main storyline.

The "small" hordes tend to be the ones living in various caves, they're easy to take out by the end really... Go in the daytime when they're all clustered in the cave, sneak in and lob a napalm into the cluster, run back out and then throw another napalm at the cave entrance as they start to come running out. That usually only leaves a couple of stragglers to mop up.

Ik there’s a horde near hot springs in a cave that you need to get through to find one of the nero research sites but i thought i was too under-levelled to take it on before i went to crater lake and now i can’t get back there coz i’m locked out of everything oop north
