Will they'd automatically be top of the leader because they wouldn't have picked up any points for 6 rounds

I'm sure Ammi has thought of that already though

...I have thought about that and there will be points recorded for the previous rounds...i guess it’ll be a similar notion to anyone who begins the game and then maybe doesn’t submit for one or so rounds etc...?..

..maybe I’m over complicating my own thoughts but that wasn’t the potentially tricky bit for me...so this is the leaderboard as it stands now../...it’s pretty tight, yeah...?...

...if answers begin to duplicate from this round directly with the new player, it could impact the places for others so I’m hoping everyone would be ok with that, even if the player didn’t play the whole rest of the rounds left...hope that makes sense...

its very tight and so few answers to some of these questions could change everything

...yeah that’s the thing...so for instance, I’ll take you and Niamh because you’re only 1 point apart so that makes it easier...if the new player matches answers with you for this round...?...then potentially that could increase your total by one point per every duplicate match/depending on whether anyone else has also matched...if that player’s answers matched with Niamh’s answers less times that they did with yours, that could put Niamh ahead of you...?...which obviously is the name of the Pointless game each round...but with a new player to the game, which is a more unusual thing and not knowing how many rounds they’ll play...(...because anyone can obviously stop playing at any time...)...it’s just knowing that everyone is ok with that, while being fair to the new player to be inclusive...and also being fair to the players...

...maybe I’m over thinking and over complicating...

What Shaun used to do, is new players would come in at the highest scorers score (unless I’m mistaken) so Parm would come in at 66 or whatever

...I think Parm’s score and how it’s done is not the thing, I’m sure he’ll be totally fine with any point penalties etc...it’s more that Pointless in itself as a game is based on point penalties and some could apply to others who may duplicate with him on answers that would be considered more crucial...?...
