It's kind of sad to see so many people discount what's being said because their loyalty to Boris and the Tories overwrites their common sense (and their morality).

Dominic Cummings is gross, but it's always worth paying heed to someone in his position, he knows that people won't believe him, that the tory cult will paint him out to be the devil and that it would be easier for him to toe that line rather than set fire to it but he did it anyway. Why? It's probably because there's more than a little bit of truth in what he's saying.

Checking facts vs Cummings’s claims reveals major flaws in his evidence

Isn’t hindsight a marvellous thing?

What I did appreciate was his confirmation of what hundreds of thousands at least of those left bereaved know already, that their loved ones lives were lost unnecessarily.

We KNOW that, we who have lost loved ones unnecessarily, we have the evidence ready to produce to the full public inquiry.

I share Cummings belief that it's a disgrace the public inquiry is not even looking at being started until another year almost.

Plus, I appreciated him running himself down too.

Also too, when asked, he said he had documented evidence he would hand to this inquiry.
He will have gathered all he needed, no doubt I have as to that.

It is no surprise to me that hard-line Cons and the more closet hard-line Cons.
Will do all they can to shield Johnson now dismissing Cummings.
They won't allow any criticism of Johnson and his deceitful Cabinet.

Johnson himself who described Cummings as a man of integrity.

So Matt Hancock hasn’t resigned as I expected but he has come out fighting !!

Apparently he hasn’t seen the Cummings evidence footage as he’s been getting the vaccines out all day ... saving lives !!

Says he will be giving a statement tomorrow...

Guess he’s in for a sleepless night

No
he is due to be in Parliament
facing the shadow health minister today
early 10:30AM.

[Mr Hancock is set to appear in the House of Commons
at around 10:30 BST to answer an urgent question
tabled by Labour about the government's handling of Covid.
He is also expected to lead a coronavirus press
conference later in the day.
Labour's shadow health secretary Jonathan Ashworth
said Mr Cummings' "very grave allegations" appeared
to be "well-founded" and the health secretary
would have to "give us an explanation" in order
for the country to "maintain confidence in him".]

…a senior advisor for ineptness revealing how inept it’s all been and how life loss could have all been reduced…which is something that has already been figured out, that our life loss is what it is…it would be laughable if it wasn’t all so horrendous while serving themselves and their careers….

…it’s like the opposite of Spartacus…he’s Spartacus…no it was him ….when they’ve all played their part..

as the chief advisor, you would expect him to take at least a little responsibility for strategies during the pandemic. If I remember correctly, Tory mp's and others were concerned that he had too much influence on decision making, it can't go both ways

…at least the Independent and the Times have reasonable headlines…yes I understand this would generally be the thing to bring in that mockery and those puns with the headlines, it’s all too ironic with all of them…no sir, it was him…but this is beyond punnery and mockery with the life loss the country has sustained under the decision making of those self serving awful people…
