About 30 seconds after Saka had his penalty saved, and Italy had won, I was putting ice in a glass followed by plenty of vodka and not much tonic.
I wish that England had won, for my in-laws, but I’m still in mourning about my beloved France getting knocked out by the damné Swiss!
