so while looking forward to getting away I wasn't keen on all the extras attached to it now, that said Gatwick seems pretty relaxed when it comes to checking anything...

When we flew out, all we needed was our vaccination status as testing is not required as an entry to Spain, we lined up at bag drop, and a guy at the head of the queue just asked us if we had our vaccination papers with us and that was that, didnt check anything.

When we landed in Spain they just scanned our locator forms and that was it.

Coming back, on the Spanish side it was a different story, you needed to show your vaccination status, negative covid test and locator form, I couldnt get mine up on my phone and had a nervy 10 minutes trying to download the damn thing, we thought we would have to go through the same palava at Gatwick but all we did was scan ourselves out through self check out and that was it

so all in all not a bad experience, just annoying that we are 250.00 odd lighter for testing
