The best TV show of the last 10 years will air a 75 minute special this Christmas.

If you've never watched it then you should start binging right now so that you're up to date for the highlight of this years Christmas viewing. Believe me, once you start watching, you will binge, it's that good.

I didn't say Christmas day. It might be, but I don't think the date has been announced yet. I just know it's on over Christmas time.

Just type "Detectorists" into twitter search and then click on "latest tweets" and then scroll down reading the comments. There you will discover that the Detectorists was bar far the outstanding highlight of this years Christmas television.

In a league of it's own.

I know I keep repeating this, but if you've never watched the show then get on Iplayer and watch it all. It's by far the best show of the past decade. It's something that you need to do in life before you die.
