Self-admitted 'racist group' the
National Straight Pride Coalition organized
a march in front of the
Modesto Planned Parenthood
Caravans of LGBTQ supporters
and pro-choice advocates came to
protest the march
Both sides clashed, bottles were thrown,
protest signs were used as clubs
A flashbang grenade or firecracker
ignited a shrubbery outside
the abortion clinic
Modesto police in riot gear pushed
back against a wall of LGBTQ
counter-protesters and fired pepper
balls into the crowd]
