Default Any ideas what is happening here ??

Every few days someone leaves all this food stuff on our local park !!!

Once there were loads and loads of small bones and out dog ate a couple before I noticed .

Any ideas what the hell is going on !?

Feeding birds or trying to harm dogs ?!

Could be a fox pulling it out of bins or some one eating in the park

probably people leaving food for foxes

speaking of food, i know alot of people say dont feed bread to wild birds ie Geese, Ducks and Swans and like the good girl I am I have bought duck food but honestly they much prefer bread.....so what is one to do

I was standing next to a man feeding the birds in the park the other day and he was emptying loads of bread and they were swarming round and then he threw in some of the official duck food and they had no interest, and I said to him do you find they just like the bread, and he said yeah I buy the duck food but its only really because people say dont feed bread but they have no interest..

"Although ducks and swans can digest all types of bread, too much can leave them feeling full without giving them all of the important vitamins, minerals and nutrients they need.

"So, although bread isn't harmful, our advice is to only feed small amounts to birds."

-------------------------------

So in other words, they want the birds to eat a nutritious diet. That's basically it
