Thumbs down

Quality Street is axing the famous bright plastic wrapping on its chocolates to make them
more environmentally friendly - and stop nearly two billion wrappers a year ending up in
landfill.

Google translate: its cheaper, poor quality and improves their margins - nothing to do with the environment

but hey ho food companies can happily lie to customers with ZERO come back

Quantity goes down every year and every year the price goes up.

Warburtons produce a loaf of bread that has a waxy-type wrapping and it spoils the bread.

And it has a funny smell.

So I stopped buying it.

[Chocolates such as strawberry delight will continue to come in bright wrapping which will instead be coated in a vegetable-based wax.]

They must have tested all of them.

Or they would not sell.

Get rid of the tins and plastic containers, replace them with big cardboard pouches of various prices.
Good value buying two of the 600gm tubs, far cheaper than you would pay for a 1.2kg tin.
