Default It's almost 3:30am

And I'm making pie and peas.

I'm about to eat a couple of minced beef and onion pies with mushy peas with a pint of lager and a pink gin chaser (a real pink gin, none of your store bought rubbish)

I know how to live.

Anyone around .. my sleep pattern is beggared .. I’ve had Novovirus ( winter vomiting bug ) since Thursday evening .. not recommended !

It depends what time I work, I work different hours all the time.

On Thursday I didn't get home until 2am so didn't get to bed until gone 5am. Next week I could be working in the morning and then the next day I could be working in the evening.

That's not always the case. I GRAFT HARD. But when the mind starts racing away with itself as you try to sleep theres no going back.

I used to take under the counter ambient during covid down in essex just before bed to help me with that. Now I'm up in Scotland I find a simple podcast(usually ricky Gervais karl pilkington and Stephen merchant ones) does the trick just as well. I'm away by 12 at the very latest and up again for work at 6.50. Like clockwork.

That is normal Alf I am talking about those who sleep during day, lay in till 12, have energy drinks and caffeine and do no exercise

not workers

Well that’s not true.. In my younger days I had a spell as a landscape gardener and I can assure you that I worked like an absolute trojan for a very hard taskmaster … but still didn’t sleep well
