The only one i've seen a bit of in your list is Downton Abbey , and it was only the first ever series i think...but i don't think i watched it all as i lost interest in it .

That's fair enough.

Tbh it never really looked like a Show that would be good for my taste either, I suppose I should give a shot some time though just to see if it can prove me wrong.

I'm a bit of a contrarian, so I usually deliberately avoid popular tv shows that everyone says "you have to watch!!1"

I'm more of a reader than a watcher, I'm more likely to re-read Pickwick Papers or Don Quixote for the zillionth time or a Batman GN

I've seen the pilot episode of the Sopranos a few years ago but I didn't finish it as it didn't hold my interest, which is odd considering it's influenced by Goodfellas, one of my all time favourites. I'll give it another chance since it's so highly rated.
