Well it depends on if Vanessa Thomas and the worker have interacted more personally with each other in the past.

I personally don't think that is very likely, but it can't be ruled out.

Well thats not very likely as the woman never knew they didn't take cash so i doubt she'd been in there before.

That's why I don't think that it's likely, and that more than likely the worker was being unfair to the customer and expecting her to be psychic.

Then why not just explain to the customer ? , the way things are at the moment.... people are getting cancelled left right and centre for just making mistakes.

As I keep saying ,this whole " respect my pronouns" seems to be a one way street. As they can be as abusive and loud and nasty as they way ...even when the person genuinely doesn't know their gender .

Also think of all the abuse and name calling workers get called in general... funny how they can still behave in a professional calm manner . But not this self entitled worker ,who wants to make a scene.

Also if I've read the headline correctly,it sounds like it's another worker getting offended on behalf of the trans person? . That's another thing that irritates me aswell .

Don't blame them tbh, it's a bit ridiculous that small businesses have to surrender a percentage of their own money just to use card transactions.

I basically always use cash for small or local businesses. And card for big corps because fck those guys

Well I assumed that the aggressive person in the video — the one that was shouting at the customer and who then ran out of the shop and attacked the person outside who was filming it on their mobile was the transperson ?!?

I think that the aggressive employee is a transwoman and that person was getting angry on behalf of the person behind the counter who is biologically female but identifies as non binary and the lady getting shouted at had referred to the person behind the counter as a lady ? I think anyway, i may have that wrong

I worded that wrong....I meant the news story in general.

Now I'm hearing it's actually a trans person getting angry on behalf of a person who identifies as 'non binary'. Which just makes this even more ridiculous. How is anyone going to know a singular person prefers to be called " they them " . Plus it's not natural to call a person " they / them" ,so obviously our eyes will always assume someone is either male or female .
