Also the BBC are completely thick.
Not a single person in the newsroom knows it’s pronounced new-fin-land not new-found-land?

Interesting watch.
So looks like a good group of 20 or so people are on board the mothership and they go down in groups of 3 for few hours to view the wreckage. So they should have been back by now.

Awkward when the reporter signs the document to say that he agrees to travel in the experimental submersible that could result in death 💀 ✍️ 💀

I wonder what they're doing if they're just stranded? Not a lot I suppose, just sitting and waiting/hoping? Can't even begin to imagine.

Unless something terrible has already happened that is, which I very much hope is not the case. Please let this is a success story - it's about time everyone had some good news.

Submarines are dangerous, particularly when diving very deep

If they are on the bottom of the ocean, it's curtains. If they some how managed to get to the surface then they will be ok.

There are apparently a few built in safety measures which will result in the craft floating to the surface .. they won’t work if it’s trapped or wedged into a small gap or underwater cave though

As mentioned before the key thing is the few days of oxygen left .

If I had £200 thousand to blow on a trip I’d be demanding at least a fortnights worth of oxygen or taking my own personal supply !

The whole setup looks very amateur, no-one rational would agree to do it

The owners of the craft are taking the mick charging those prices - fools and their cash are easily parted as my old mam used to say

Why did the titanic end up it sank anyway? It's an enclave, and it would have been quicker for the boat to sail straight on by!

If someone can post a map of new poundland in relation to New York you will see what I mean.

I don't know why anyone would want to do this, just another thing to tick off the bucket list for people with far too much cash and time on their hand, I hope they are found before it is too late, because it must be absolutely terrifying down there for them
