He was Live on GMBHD itv

Good on him
Locking the toilets

Of course, he will allow a young lady
if she must.

Loads were going from other lessons to Vape in the Bog.
and chit chat.

Maybe the kids "should have" gone during break, but it's not always that simple if he's going to keep this up, pupils who need to go should use his office, or go against his door.

Wrong.

While yes it's correct to stamp out unnecessary visits if possible.
There can be reasons why it cannot and should not be that anyone has to sit uncomfortably if genuinely needing the toilet.

If I was pretty desperate to need the toilet, it would be both painful and dangerous to have to wait 30 minutes or more before I could go.

Making everyone go at the same time is more likely to cause congregation than letting people go when they need to.

They have done this at my son's school too. We had a letter home to say that permission will only be given in exceptional circumstances and then they have to get permission from the class teacher and go the office to get a key. They had a big problem of kids skipping lessons in the bathrooms and this has put a stop to it.

My daughter's been told that if she needs to leave for the toilet and they say no, she's to leave anyway and instruct them to call me if there's an issue.

I hope every day for that call .

Zizu I wouldn't target a teacher's house or car if they hit my kids with a leather strap.

I'd target them, with their leather strap. Share share that's fair, right?

Most normal kids won't go to the bathrooms during break times because they're simply unsafe.

I told my son that in primary. His year 2 teacher was a witch and he had his hand up to asj to use the bathroom, she snapped and said if whatever he had to say was not about the lesson she didn't want to hear it. He was (is) such a goody two shoes he put his hand down and had an accident. It was the middle of winter and he had to wear his PE kit for the rest of the day. His legs were blue by the time I picked him up. He had not had a accident since the first time I took him out of nappies so I was fuming.

Its the one time I ever lost my **** with his teacher and said he would NEVER ask again and would just go and said I would take it to the Head and Governors if it happened again. It was a nightmare though because he would avoid drinking so he didn't need to go again. Even now he says he has used the bathrooms at school a handful of times since that day, it traumatised him that much.

This was also the process in place when I was in school over a decade ago.

Didnt anyone have to hold their hand up whilst dodging a flying blackboard duster?

Do they just walk out when they want these days?

Not sure if I mentioned the story about my pal who is the janitor at the local high school here. Asked a kid to stop being boisterous in the hallway. Got told to eff off ya specky old ****.

My mate just had to trudge off and report it.

Changed days, and like I said, its cause kids get to say to much.

A friend of mine is a teaching assistant in a local high school and she said you wouldn't believe the kids' behaviour now. Chairs being thrown, students "squaring up" to staff (16 year olds who aren't small), swearing and calling the teacher expletives etc.

The most shocking thing is she said every classroom there has a kind of panic button installed for the teacher to press if it starts getting serious and two MALE members of staff must be free at any given time to attend when needed... Like wtf? Full-time teacher/part-time bouncer it seems.
