What possessed you to list chocolate spread and turkey as the acceptable fillings and ham as a nonsense one

I don't really like sandwiches tbh, there's normally one thing in any filling I'm not keen on and I don't really like cold food as a meal. If it's just like a bacon sandwich though I'm all over that

Will never understand the popularity of supermarket meal deals and the factory produced sandwiches with stale bread, cheap tasteless meat and saturated in mayo

I’ll have a bacon/sausage bap but otherwise it’s team Subway/team Italian baguette/nacho-wrap for me. I love my toast but I’ve always had a hard time managing just-plain sandwiches. I could manage turkey and chicken (preferably diced chunks of them) and chocolate spread (not Nutella; too bitty) but ya, MTVN. I can’t stand ham, boiled eggs or tuna so I tend to avoid foods containing them (unless it’s actual tuna fish that hasn’t been mashed/brined).

Love a sandwich, if I buy pre packed it has to be M & S salmon and cream cheese or egg and tomato ...yum

I know times are tough right now (I’ve felt that so painfully over the past year) but I either cook and bring my food into work or nip out and get something. When it comes to sandwiches that I’m actually going to want to eat, it’s one of those rare instances when I genuinely prefer Tesco to Asda (if I can’t get to Morrisons or the Co-Op/etc.). But really we’re talking more about wraps and whatnot than actual sandwiches. I’m a big foodie but I just don’t do ham or pickle on bread (or at all). But the point is I don’t make my own sandwiches. It’s not too cost-effective but if you’re going to eat it might as well be something you actually like.

You’re exactly the sort of person to down crisp butties like there’s no tomorrow aren’t you.

I only like McCoy’s, certain Walkers flavours and plantain chips so again I’d be quite limited in that sense even if I did like crisp butties.

Walkers-wise I was a ready-salted buff once upon a time. I still feel like they’re alright but I’ve grown to love Prawn Cocktail (for my sins) and Cheese and Onion more than anything now. I like those spicy Thai crisps (whatever they’re called) but that’s the extent of my crisp love outside of plantain ones and old niches (McCoys).
