Celebrity Big Brother fans have been left baffled after housemate Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu's mother claimed that her father is an alien.

Following last night's (March 4) launch show, which saw the Love Island winner among the stars unveiled for the CBB house, Ekin-Su's mother Sezer appeared on Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live.

As hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best spoke to a number of the housemates' family and friends, they turned to Sezer as Will touched on her reality star daughter's previous claims she has encountered aliens, asking: "Did she meet an alien?"

Sezer then responded: "This is a secret, please keep it as a secret. Her dad actually is [an] alien."

"Her dad's an alien? Oh my goodness," a somewhat confused Will added, the guest reiterating: "Please keep a secret."

"I won't tell anyone," Will assured her, as Sezer added: "[I don't know] why she is always talking about aliens – so please keep a secret."

…well, tbf…I’ve seen her mom and I’ve seen her brother, who is as lovely as Ekin-Su….but I’ve never actually seen her dad, he never actually appears…so that would explain it…he is an alien…

…she was born in London, her parents must have been here around 30 years or over so I don’t think Sezer meant immigrant…they’re both from Turkey and came together so why would she say that he was an immigrant…

…Ekin Su, I didn’t realise …has been a pageant queen and strangely back in 2011 she represented Ireland in the Miss Asia Pacific World pageant…I was trying to find an Irish connection but there doesn’t appear to be one… and I did read one article with her manager saying that there wasn’t any connection…
