Breaking News


Sky News: Police described the incident as
a "serious road traffic collision".


[A major incident has been declared after a
school bus crashed in County Down
in Northern Ireland.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS)
said it happened at Carrowdore and that
"up to 70 passengers" were on board.

It said: "NIAS has despatched multiple resources
to the scene. Please only call 999 if your situation
is life-threatening while we deal with this incident.
More details to follow."]

[Police and ambulance services attended the scene which
was described as being 'like a battlefield' on the Ballyblack
Road East in County Down, Northern Ireland.

The bus overturned and ended up sideways in a
field beside the rural road near Carrowdore and Strangford,
a village 30 miles from Belfast.]
