Default And they gave them 5 votes each time.

The LGBTQ viewers and their protest votes, just to make sure Ali won, BB decided to give everyone 5 fresh votes everytime someone was evicted in the last week and on closing evening. Talk about fixing things for one HM.

Such an easy ride for the winner, with no pressure applied from big brother to Ali, they couldn't even bring themselves to show the house that she bare faced lied to Emma. Everyone elses words were used against them at some point in the house.

Truly the worst winner since rachel rice, and a very similar one also. A winner chosen for what she stands for and not for what she shown us of herself and her personality. In fact apart from her brother killing himself and her being a lesbian with ADHD we didnt really find out anything about Ali's true personality..

Notice how she used her adhd as an excuse for struggling in the house, yet as so as those doors opened to release her she breezed the final night pressure cooker and all the pressure and strangeness of the interview process, and further tv appearances since...absolutely breezed them never once looking out her comfort zone.

Yeah, hoodwinked I would say, fooled by the worst winner since rachel rice.. a truly excellent series ruined by her win.

Was it only the LGBT viewers who received an extra 5 votes? I wasn’t aware. Thats really shocking and truly a fix. We should speak to Ofcom about it.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Don’t have a problem with Ali winning
I think giving people more votes was just to the show more credibility
Will made. A statement at one point about having a million votes
But if you are each person 5 votes that’s only 200 thousand people voting

We all got the same amount of free votes , they've always frozen and then reopened the lines...for us to add another 5 free votes to the other registered votes we made.

But we all know people will have been using several devices & different SIM cards, giving themselves alot of extra votes to use. Not all of us can compete with that , I had 1 phone only & only voted that way.

But all the housemates would have had fans doing that , surely.

I even heard there were some online groups who were voting for Marcello to win .. not because they liked or loved him .. simply because they hated the show and wanted to mess up the voting/results

In all honesty, it's rather sad that people allow their sexuality to define them. To define all their choices in life, to define who they must support on tv.

Tragically sad that if you are LGBT you must follow the latest thing like sheep.

Ali, you are the 1st lesbian to win BB...who bloody cares!!!

What's peoples sexuality got to do with anything, how di they know none of the other winners were lesbian!! What bloody business is it of theirs what sexuality you are!!

Theres more to life, and more to Ali than where she wants to poke her fingers, its just irrelevant to me what sexuality people are, not all of us feel the need to shout it from rooftops

Interesting take on things

I don’t really think that your own sexuality necessarily has to define you or your preferences / character at all

I am a happily married bloke who loves beautiful women .. I admit to having an eye for a pretty face like Ali or Maura ( thankfully they are both far, far more than just a pretty face .)

The wife doesn’t mind one iota and I obviously don’t mind her finding other guys attractive.. its just natural.

Now I supported/voted for Ali this time, Jordan last time and Brian Dowling years ago - they are probably my three favourite BB contestants as well

Favourite musicians include Pet Shop Boys , Years & Years , Olly Alexander, Will Young ( saw him LIVE at the M.E. N Arena ) and many more LGBT folk ..

So presumably LGBT folk enjoy like heterosexual people/musicians/housemates ..

They don't, but it's nice to see representation and therefore nice to support if you wish to. It's a bit like supporting the Football club of where you're from, I guess.

That's really easy for people to say who have had their sexuality represented throughout their life as the norm.

As a boy, I knew I had an attraction to males from very early on. Yet that kind of relationship was never shown on TV or books and never talked about positively. I was young and the fact I only ever saw love between a men and a woman made me feel like I was broken.

When I finally started hearing more about 'being gay' was when I went to secondary school where gay was used as an insult only. The only out gay guy in my year was bullied for being so.

Rewind further back in history and it's even more horrifying.

I thinks straight people underestimate just how scary and isolating this can be for gay people growing up. It's not their fault they don't understand because they take it for granted, they're represented, understandably, at every turn. Straight people don't need to shout about their sexuality because it will affect nobody.

Gay people should celebrate representation on mainstream TV and in books and in movies because someone who is confused and scared will see it as normal and fine.

For many LGBT people, their sexuality is important because it's shaped them as a person throughout growing up. From hiding it, to accepting it, to coming out. From dealing with rejection from family or friends because you're gay and dealing with homophobia. From assessing a situation to know whether it's safe to say "boyfriend/husband" or whether you should just say "partner". Years of pretending only to not pretend anymore is a unique and defining experience and so often the relationship a gay person has with their sexuality is so intrinsic and personal in a way that it isn't when you are straight.

That's all very thought provoking, but we don't live in the past, we live in the here and now.

I don't buy this, "it's difficult speel"

Take Ali for instance, if took her 4 hours to say to 4 straight males on night one...."there will be lots of people watching who dont know I'm a lesbian"

Yeah, correct, and there will be lots watching who dont give 2 hoots what sexuality you are..BB isnt a knocking shop, it's a shop window for personalities, and sexuality isnt personality. So I dont know why she felt the need to share her sexuality to 4 strangers and millions watching

WELL I do know, but you know!

I think it was the neurodiverse aspect that made her stand out rather than her being a lesbian
