(To use a big-5 barometer of surface-personality, for what it’s worth.) Do people you come across tend to find you a(n) agreeable, nice person from the off or is that something only time seems to vouch to them (i.e., ‘s/he’s actually a really nice person, once you get to know him/her’)?

It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks
A lot of people go through life constantly trying to please others or being afraid of what others think of them Some will like you some will not and you in turn will like some and not like others |

Excluding the people that haven't liked me at all, for various different reasons.
I would say that it would depend on the person, some have liked me straight away while others I've won over gradually. I suppose that's life for you tbh.

I haven't picked up one way or another. I definitely don't have a resting bitch face. I'm fairly talkative around the right vibes, but I don't like the idea of forcing myself into people's spaces and like to stay out of other people's business, so I guess I give enough space by default that I've never had some issue.
If anything, I think being "too nice" is more of a problem for the culture I'm near/around. People here are more down-to-earth and less concerned with social filters. I do agree with sheriff, it doesn't really matter what people think, but it's also because I tend to think other people's mindsets don't revolve around me. When we think that way, I tend to believe we worry about how the world responds to us more often than we probably should and it means we don't see what is around us for what it is... like I like to think the world is doing its own thing with and without me and so it's something I get to enjoy and observe. That's probably why I don't really notice how people read me because I probably am much more interested in them than they are in me... which sounds about right. |

I just assume people don't like me off the bat. I'm fine with it and I have enough friends...

I’m of mind if people don’t want to like me, that’s absolutely fine. I’m not here to please people, especially as some people can never be pleased.

I'm pretty marmite, you either get me or you don't
![]() I think the older you get the less you care what people think, they can think what they like, I know what's in my heart
