the whole way privacy is destroyed is by picking up fragments of information on you and then joining them together to get a fuller picture. There is CCTV in big towns/city's but the majority of the country is cctv free. Not many shops round my way have cctv. My phone doesn't track me, thats easy to do

Every piece of information you give up, is a step tn the wrong direction. Why do you think 99% of porn viewers in the uk are bypassing age verification

So there is already a card you can apply for if you want to prove identity and age

Me too! My driving licence and work ID are always with me.

If the IDs are going to be digital, will they provide a phone for those who haven't got one? Maybe offer them the choice of an iPhone or a Samsung.

Well there is a cost to me because its tax that will be paying for it, we dont need them, its a waste of money, if they had plenty money in the tank then it might not be an issue but they are 50 billion in debt

the only way digital id's will be effective is if police stop and check people on the streets. Is that the way we want the country to go?

Tbh I don't see the problem with them. Most countries now have some form of ID cards

People will violently oppose this then provide all sorts of identifiable and traceable data every time they use the internet
