Default New : Charlie Bigham's £30 ready meal Beef Wellington

Meal for 2 People
add your own veg.

I do like more Choice.

Cook in 50mins.

https://www.waitrose.com/ecom/produc...E0vdGssKsDYyw4

[Beef Fillet. Mushroom Duxelles.
Pedro Ximénez. Puff Pastry.

Oven cook in 30 to 50 mins.
To make this Wellington worthy of the name,
we handroll each one with
prime centre-cut fillet of beef,
dressed with mustard and thyme.
Now it's over to you to dim the lights
& light a candle.]

…I watched a very funny Garron Noone vid a few days ago, I don’t know if you’re familiar with him…anyway, his ‘rant’ was a Beef Wellington one and specifically the Marks and Spencer Christmas range one, which is £195…I wish I could post the vid but for some reason YouTube won’t show me it/I would have to sign in, which I’m not able to…but this is the Garron offending beef wellington…

…I hope that link works ok, to show it…

I can get TWO of the same £1 Iceland meals and pop them on one plate and there's plenty to eat.

£2, all you need.

Easy to prepare one yourself on christmas eve, and cook on Christmas day.

Probably feed everybody for 20 quid

30 quid are they joking? And it only feeds 2. Imagine accidently burning it in the oven! Yikes
