I think they can't put Gani or Cameron back in because they were voted out directly as a result of a public vote, whereas Emily wasn't. In terms of Farida, they were probably looking back at other housemates who were evicted early during the ITV incarnation and thought that Farida seemed like the best choice out of the options.
