Quite shocked at this and doesn't bode well for the future of the show after next year. I thought they'd at least trial a shorter format or fewer days a week rather than axe it completely, although I understand that ratings have slumped and they've struggled to find audience members this series

I didn't watch it very often so probably won't miss it too much but it was nice having it there if I wanted an additional fix after the highlights and sometimes it was quite entertaining. I also think both AJ and Will are much better as L&L presenters than they are on the main show so this will expose them even more to criticism

And what does it mean for backdoor evictions

I feel like this is either the start of a major overhaul which will benefit the show or the start of budget cuts and then salami slicing off different parts of BB until we're left without a show anymore. Could be live feed going next

If I would have to guess I would imagine that the panelists were part of the problem .. along with AJ


Looking online the vast majority of viewers only watched the show when Will was presenting it … the producers will present have taken note


Plus the hosts couldn’t control the guests

Cameron B was his loud and obnoxious self and Caroline ran rings around Will and Aj

The actual format was decent enough imho

You mean people didn't want to tune in every day after an episode to see what Zeze Mills, David Potts and Jojo Siwa thought?

The reason the older sideshows performed relatively well - and still do for bigger shows such as Strictly, Traitors, the Bake Off, etc - is that they would get (so-called) experts in to shed light on personality types, relationship dynamics, the psychology of being confined etc. Now of course the show is less popular, and the "24/7 no outside world" fundamental has pretty much all but dissipated, there's nothing left to talk about so we just get some twats in to say "I think she's fake" and clap and laugh at toilet humour.

It's a shame it's axed entirely because it certainly could have been tweaked first: different presenters gave it its own identity in the past (Dermot, or Russell, or Rylan etc.) and like others have said, reducing the number of episodes of week could've still made it an interesting watch. The sad fact is: as it was, most people cannot be bothered to watch an episode of the same show every day, let alone an hour of some Z-listers scrambling around with no professionalism or talent afterwards under the ring-leading of two largely terrible presenters, afterwards as well.

Let’s be honest, L&L was bloody awful most nights. I gave up watching a lot of the time.

I think this is the start of ITV axing civilian BB completely, especially given how poorly this season was received and performed.

I rarely watched Late & Live, and when i did i fast forwarded parts of the show. Whether this a longer term sign that BB is going to be axed only time will tell over that.

However we do know that Celeb BB and the original one will be returning in 2026, it is an important year for the show.

I think people are missing the point. For an after show to be successful, the content they are discussing needs to be compelling. If the main content isn't compelling it doesnt matter who the shows presenters or guests are, it will flop

If the main show is now about curated 1 or 2 minute clips it really doesnt lend itself to an aftershow because the viewers are looking for the shortest level of engagement possible. For the same reason, live feed will be scrapped sooner rather than later

They could improve Live Stream by 100% by keeping the live stream going and muting conversations when required
