When going out on dates, who pays, if it's the first couple dates?

the guy deffo on the first date. Once a guy asked me out, and then argued that I should pay half, when I hadn't wanted to go in the first place and had had an awful time. I walked out, and he hounded me for a week. I'd only eaten salad and a glass of wine, what an absolute moron!

Id probably pay knowing me haha, me and my mate were talking about this the other day, we were saying how id be the one buying all the special gifts etc.. haha its so true.

it really depends on how well you know the person. If it's someone I meet out or whatever, they must pay. If it's one of my friends or a friend of a friend who I've known for a while but we've just started liking eachother, I'll happily pay half. I also think it depends on who asks who. If a guy asks me out and I'm poor, I'll still accept but I wouldn't have asked them, because I'd know that I didn't have the money at the time, if that makes sense

my bf pays 80% of the time the rest of the time we go halves and occasionaly i pay lol.Although once i dated this right skank of a guy he didn`t even buy me a drink once and i was seeing him for ages,i totally regret it now though.I mean I dont expect a guy to pay for everything but its just plain rude not to offer a girl a drink at least once,ignoramous!
