All of the modelling agencies and fashion shows should ban Size 0, its not healthy at all.

They will not Ban it,
unless many Die.

Thing is size zero can still be heathy and normal on some women so they would be out of a career because they are their normal size, they shouldnt get this sorta abuse either or being skinny, as being obease or even overweight is more unhealthy but people are all like it nowadays so they dont mind about it and all the fatter people bitch and complain about the slimmer ones.

If i was really skinny and some chubby people were telling me i should gain weight id be pissed.

Oh don't give us that, there are short people, big boned people, that can't be models because they are naturally like that. Why the hell should we give skinny people more rights than a short person?

It is not giving out the right image, models are an image that a lot of people look at, including kids, they shouldn't be fat or skinny they should be healthy LOOKING women.

Managers go to models every day and say 'You can't model your to old', that's the career they are in! Tough luck.

Yeah but little kids will not research into if thats their natural size, they will see this skinny woman wearing designer clothes and think skinny is the fashion, then they will follow. It's as simple as that.

The kids are seeing skinny girls everywhere, and they think they are fat because they are not that skinny. Its this psychology that gets young girls and sometimes boys into anorexia and it can kill. All because designers want skinny girls to wear their clothes.

You don't see the problem? There it is in black and white, in one short statement, these skinny girls on the runways are setting such a trend, it is killing children.

Thats not the point im making, what i mean is, they could introduce other sizes and still have SOME skinny women there that look good cant just ban them completely.

Yes but allowing them on the runways is telling kids that it is still accepted, what needs to happen is that the whole idea of size 0 needs to be completely removed from the public eye. As long as skinny girls remain on our screens/magazines etc, girls will copy.
If it was one skinny girl and the rest normal sized women then obviously thats fine, it makes the model look stupid. But then again, they are models after all, there is a fashion to follow, you cant just have a range of models, its either normal or skinny, you cant mix it up.

I really cant be bothered to go this in depth.

I am happy seeing slim women on runways, and thats that.

You are, but the reaction from most likely the majority of the public is that they don't want to see it.

Because male models aren't told to lose weight, they are told to muscle up and put on weight.

I agree with Fom sticks on a catwalk are not a good role models. They should be normal looking girls not over weight girls or under weight girls

I think size zero modeling is banned in some places, Italy I think? I can't remember but it was pretty recent.

I agree, really skinny is bad but it's required in the model world. You won't get booked for any jobs unless you're tall and skinny and there is a reason why.

Fashion models:

(omg omg ew)
