Default If the contract is renewed... how long for?

If BB do the right thing and renew the contract to make BB12...
Does anyone know how long this contract can last before we hear more about BB being axed again?

When was the last time they renewed the current contract?

Hard to say how long it will go for right now. Let's get through BB10 for a start making it the biggest success as possible. When that occurs (hopefully) they can start thinking about renewing contracts.

I think they renewed it after BB7 for 4 more series. Obviously, the show was doing very well in 2006, (CBB4 and BB7), so naturally they made sure they got their hands on a good few years worth of BB.

I would imagine they may ask endemol for a one yera contract. Then at the end of every year, they can see if BB is worth renewing.

If they renew the contract after BB11 then they'll probably only do it on a yearly basis, like Ten's deal with Endemol Southern Star for Big Brother Australia.

After BB11
it may be Contracted per series (2 per year)
letting Endemol have the Rights to change channel , again and again.

That's 5 series, I think that's what he means.

Anywhooo I'd like it to be contracted for another 5 series.
