Default The easiest way for BB10 To get ratings..

Many many many MANY people I spoke to have No clue about BB10 starting heres 2 conversations i had the other day...

"Omg I Cant wait till 4th June now! Can you?"
My mate says "Why whats happenen then?"
I was well shocked and said "BIG BROTHER 10!" and he looked at me like "I heard that was axed...."

And then another one was..

"Whos watchen BB10?"
My mates said to me "Whens that back?"
I said to them 4th June and they told me they completley forgot all about it.

Now if BB10 has to be very big on ratings there not doing a good job what with....
Very little advertising, No news, Fans forget it even excist!

So I thought instead of paying alot for a billboard of an eye or somthing...
And seeing as Big Brother is now aimed at more younger people why not advertise the launch date on Bebo!
And Im not talking about the Bebo Groups of BB i mean the Log In page that millions log into everyday, It would get so much viewers for BB an even people outside the UK would see this!
Its probley the best way of advertising it..of course there is always flying a helicopter with a banner sayen
"BB10 4th June!!"

So what do you think of the Bebo Idea?
Or do you think of any more advertising ideas for BB10?
Anything WE Can do to advertise the show?
It would do so much more if us lot found a way to spread the word of BB10!!

Err, Bebo beat you to it. I saw Channel 4's official bebo page being advertised as a reccomended link at least four times when going through bebo today.

I think the idea is good
but Big Brothers target audience is 16-34's, not 12 year olds who don't understand Facebook.
Maybe an advertising campaign on Facebook or Myspace would be better

Well I have all 3 of those and I know how to use Facebook perfectly fine Im just one of the many that find it complete crap that is boring to use.
And Myspace is very unpopular in the UK so it would be an alright place to advertise BB USA Not UK.

Nope because Facebook is the second worst site ever made and Bebo is a bigger site, there pretty much the same accually only thing is Bebo is 10 times more entertaining and Facebook dont let you have your own profile.

Still dont see why that says Im Obsessed with Bebo by just pointing out the obvious.

Ah Wish people would stop talking about this and start talking about what this thread is about...
New ways to get BB10 Launch nigh more popular!

For everyone living in mainland UK, in NI/Ireland bebo for some reason is alot more popular than any other myspace type sites. (I dont think I know anyone whos 12 - 18 without a bebo page over here lol) For that reason, I dont think the advertising would work because on mainland, people use Facebook and Myspace alot more, which would be a more sensible place to advertise with a bigger age group and alot more people.

They just need to push the advertsing campaign to the absolute limit!!
Continuous adverts on C4 and the other C4 channels I.E 4Music, which is watched by young people as well as the older audience.
I think the bebo idea is good but it would only attract viewers within the 11-14yr bracket.
I think extensive advertising needs to be done on Facebook, which is the most logged onto website in the world. (I heard it on the radio yesterday)
Like I say they need to push it as far as it can go!!!
Im suprised they didnt start the countdown today.
BB6's coutdown started at 18 days!

They don't want to overdo it though, overkill can turn people away if they're sick of it. If they do a mad surge in the last week (which I think they're going to do) then its much more effective.
