Some people seem to think the Electric Shock task was so funny...
I think it was funny for the first 2 minutes.
We seen it on BB9, CBB6 and Again tonight on BB Big Quiz.

Out of all of them I think Big Quiz was the best because Brian and Nikki were so funny.

But what we havent seen in so long was the Box task from Big Brother 6.

We also seen a clip of that too on the Big Quiz.
And I loved it when Science and Derick, and Kemal all argued while in seperate boxes

So heres the quistion...

The Box Task for me.

It is more genuinely funny, especially wehn people talk/argue and all we see is a smiling picture of the HM on the front of the box. I love the way the camera zooms in on it as if it were the picture that was talking.

The Electric Shock Task on the other hand felt forced. We don't even know if it hurts as much as they make it out to be. When they used it in BB9 and CBB6 all the screaming annoyed me more than made me laugh, especially as most of it sounded forced or fake or OTT. The only funny thing about the THREE times they used was in the quiz when Brian fell off his chair and broke it and when Davina, in a deadpan voice, dropped "Shock Niki again." The novelty has definitely worn off now. Please not again.

There are pros and cons to both

Box Task - very entertaining, old fave. but thats just it is - old.
Shock Task - its been used regularly since it was introduced so it wouldn't look dated but it gets boring quickly.

However I would choose the box task as it's fresh to newer viewers but still has a great format.

then again it must be brought into consideration how badly it failed in CBB4 where they simply chose a winner (though that was mainly down to George's diplomatic ways). A large part of why it was such a success in BB6 is because the housemates all hated each other which made them even more competitive. I'm not sure if they could ever find a group it would work so well with again.

Neither, both are boring.

Box task = High chance of it being lame. If one HM does't argue, then it's just people in a box.

Shock task = Gets SO boring. After a while, the shocks don't hurt anymore, and they're just squeaming about. Also, a lot of people fake dramatic reactions here, knowing they're gaining air time from it.

If I had to choose, Box Task by far. The Shock Task was just god awful, as you could tell some people were just playing up to the cameras and being overdramatic just to come off as a Nikki-like character. You could never really tell if they were being genuine or not. The Box Task was hilarious to watch; however, I'm not really up for re-using tasks - even in the subsequent Celebrity versions as well.

Now, if we were to have the bringing back of secret missions from BB6, that wasn't a specific task.

If they could find a creative way to reinvent the box task that would be ok. They've electrocuted the past two seasons, they need to give it a rest. Original challenges would be even better.

Yep box task. They did it in the celebrity version after BB6 aswell.

The box task - Even though I only watched the CBB4 one it was very funny and it stands as one of my fave task of all time.

i would like to see new tasks! but also old tasks like the box and electric shock task too!! and the chilli task is a must!!! its successful everytime that chilli task!! lol

i also want them to do that task where they stand on the podeums.. and last one off is immune.. or whatever! i remember on the radio they was like.. "theres 2 housemates still on the podeum after 12 hours" or something like that!! i was like ahhhhhhh!

I think a public vote for the favourite BB task would be a good idea, but not just limited to the box or electric shock task.

The trouble is the tasks won't be the same 2nd time round, HM's will remember the tasks and act like they say previous HM's act. It's a bit like when Nikki went back into the house the 2nd time, she knew people found her tantrums funny and tried pulling them off again, it didn't work and she was evicted soon after. Also remeber Chanelle's version of 'it's so coooOOOoooOOOld' I can't remember what it was about but she tried the exact same tone as Nikki and failed, miserably.

Box Task - It was entertaining to watch and to see how long it took for the HM's to moan and argue. It was original and one of BB's best tasks imo.

what about the task where they had to stick with their jobs for the week.. when nikki was a PA or PR from 9am till 5pm! when lisa was a cleaner in her shift hours, when mikey was a lifeguard and all that! that could be cool to do again!
