Default without the live feed

Hi I'm new to this board so firstly HI!!!
I feel a bit deflated by BB this year due to lack of live feed, I am working today so I couldn't stay up and watch any of it last night so normally when I get in from work I put on the live feed and get to know the hm's a bit better. I can't do that this year, so all I'll see tonight is a rehash of what I already saw last night and then I'll have to wait till Saturday night to see any new stuff.

It just feels that my interest will wain very quickly if I only have access to about forty minutes of footage from each 24 hour day.

I can see this series having the lowest ratings ever and being a massive flop!

This is the problem with not having live feed. We won't get to see the fallout of last night until the selected highlights. Last night must have been quite uncomfortable for all but the two in the bedroom.
I can also see me getting bored with trying to keep up.

Yes and you also get to see events and situations as they REALLY are. Not the 'edited to suit BB's agenda' that you get in the highlights show.
I don't know how many times I've watched an argument or situation on live feed and then on the highlights show it has been edited into something completely different.
I'm gutted because I love watching the live feed when there's nowt on the telly, this year it will be really hard to get involved with the show if we are seeing so little of it!

CH4 should have gone all out to go out with a bang this year rather than deliberately trying to put off their core audience.

The live feed is what generates viewers, surely they know that. I think they just don't care this year because it is most likely the last one. I would have preferred if they had cut BBBM and BBLB to just a couple of times a week (because half the daily program is just filler anyway) and used the cash to keep the live feed going.

I'm going to stop talking about this now cause I'm getting more gutted the more I think about it!

This credit crunch talk is a load of nonsense, how come the live feed is the ONLY thing they can't afford, they can still afford to have trash like BBBM and BBLB with nonentities getting paid lots of money for coming on and talking rubbish! BBBM is just a rabble and BBLB has all these pointless little games on it!
they could have cut them back to a couple of shows a week each and kept the live feed.

Although I've never watched the live feed, I've always been of the opinion that it's an essential part of the show.

I like to come on here and chat to people who have been watching it as they can give me a rundown of what's gone on even if I haven't actually seen it.

I also find that people who watch a lot of live feed are able to shed some light on what the highlights shows are overlooking. We all know the HLs are hand-picked with an ulterior motive in mind, and it's interesting to hear about the side of the HMs we don't get to see on the HL show.

I think BB have made a huge mistake in axing the feed to be honest.

no live feed no voting from me, wonder what happening now in house,we may never know, channel 4 have so many channels available, internet and red button , when viewing figures fall for show, should be time to listen to core fans, who stuck with show,,,,,,,,, we dont all watch live feed constently, but impacts forums and work/street gossip, i suggest mass withdraw of vote would send message to channel 4 that we still care about bb, many other ways for channel 4 to save bit of money, without affecting viewer enjoyment of show, cut some of high salary guests on spin off shows, small charge for internet live feed, drop silly expensive twists, that dont work, give good interactive show with life feed, get viewers more involved and exercised , maybe we will see bb continue for few more years, remember need new younger fans to get hooked, just like we did,

I couldnt agree more..BBBM especially is crude TV, it doesnt matter who presents it, the format is juvenile and it's an extra we could easily do without.

TBH I have always been able to do without any of the spin off shows (although Dermy was a giggle back when BBLB first started) and Im sure the majority of fans would happily do the same to have the option of LF instead.

For those that didnt watch LF last night, Lisa and Kris became HM's, they played 50 dares and Siavash is actually turning out OK.

Siavash looked utterly coked up the nose last night, walking around saying the same things to everyone every five minuets about wanting to play games. He looks very controlling and vain. Good though. Keep him in.

Read the guys bio though. He is clearly a tit. Well worthy of some damage down a back alley.

UGH!
Its NOT the last series, really learn more before you post somthing stupid like that.
The contract dosent expire until 2010.
And then well see what happens but if this series is going to be **** then the ratings will be down and BB12 Wont happen but BIG BROTHER 11 Will!

C4 Think there so cool though, without BB They`d be unknown to alot of people.

the show should not be about how good diary room chair looks or titles or any of that stuff, its pure interaction between hms and viewers, the gossip and buzz it generates between fans on forums like this, resulting in we the viewers voting, it is after all pure entertainment, show we care and lets just not vote.channel 4 will get the idea maybe that little more live feed is needed, think what scares our politicians, the lack of voting,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i feel this is our chance to save bb for future why should we just accept there decision, plenty people soon complain when something on show upsets them,, [ could be why live feed cut] time now for us to stand up for OUR show

I always look forward to the live feed - especially when they all enter the house - you can see them scoping each other out and you get a better sense of the real them before they relax the next day and start the "game".

I feel like a spoilt indignant child that can't get their own way because there is no live feed. It is just abolut Channel 4 being in control of the output - how do we know then that they are not scripting and directing it too???

we know there will be bb11, maybe more reason to kick up fuss this year about live feed, next year could finish up with just highlight show every other night, housmates in there 24/7 can not get feel for whats going on with less than 60 min edited highlight show, know some overnight feed, but need something during day no live feed no vote wonder what they doing right now???????

I'd already decided not to vote if there is no daytime LF. Said on another thread, after a couple of weeks it's always the same ones up at night. Lots will be in bed early and we'll only see them on the 9.00 show. I won't get to REALLY know the HMs if I'm only watching an edited show at 9.00 and a couple of hours at night.
