ha ha Of cause it wasnt advertised, they wanted to make a sure a majority of viewers didnt know they had axed the live feed until after the launch.

Surely, this is a disasterous rating? Absolutely terrible.

Is it likely that Channel 4 now will not renew the contract and end with BB11, or even try and force Endemol to end it after BB10 by paying compensation.
Judging by last nights selection of housemates and so called twist I think all sensible people should be wishing that CH 4 do the right thing and kill off the series now not waiting for BB11.

BBBM was a disgrace and a complete load of vulgarity rubbish suitable only for those of a mentality of a moron.......Could not stand watching it and switched off well before the end of BBBM........Almost did the same thing with regard to the so called launch night.......

I will give tonights highlights a look at but have a feeling I will switch that off too........

It's not the housemates that are not real housemates it's the producers that are not really sane......

Who said that was my issue? My issue was your, quiet frank, utterly ballsed up, retarded understanding of the situation.

Major television networks do not hold back an entire advertising campaign as a conspiracy to prevent a fraction of their audience, most of whom already know, from finding out that the live feed is not back 24/7, you moron.

It will never be cancelled I dunno about everyone else but BB was the main center of conversation in college today. The eyebrow twist really got people talking, nice fun task for the audience...

Same here. I was surprised at the amount of texts I got saying 'you watchin BB?' last night. Again, that does not happen with Come Dine With Me.

Anything over 5million was a success for last night imo
Its a good rating with a good rating in the demographic with a good balance of housemates which may turn BB's fortunes around

So your saying Channel 4, with intention, decided to advertise Big Brother like shit so the sixth of the audience who did watch live feed on a regular basis and who already knew of it's cancellation would be kept in the dark? And this makes ANY sort of business sense HOW?

Right. Just so I know we are on the same page. Nice argument, by the way. The men in white coats should be coming soon enough.

I'm sick of everybody saying its going to be cancelled.
They won't cancel it half way through a series, and BB11 is CONFIRMED.

Also, the ratings aren't that bad - the launch show BEAT every other terrestrial channel, which isn't the norm for Channel 4 - they usually come third or fourth in the ratings list.

Yes Ch4 needs to let Endemol move Channel.

As long as it stays around 2 Million - 3 million viewers for highlights it won't be cancelled. It can't be cancelled until after next year's has finished anyway.

it'll not be cancelled the ratings would have to drop dramatically for that to be even considered plus we've 14 weeks ahead of us the ratings could fly up over that time xx
