Rightso, I live with my bf the majority of the time and we have a shared laptop. He's gone to glastonbury [ahhh i really miss him ] and I've popped back to my parents with it so it's safe and all that.
Ideally, I'd use that instead of this shitty computer but I can't get my internet to work. The laptop generally runs through wireless internet at the bf's, but at my parents we have an AOL modem, and I can't get it to work, though I REALLY don't want to install AOL on the laptop just for a few days [I'm only here 'till Saturday, I'm going back then]. There are loads of random wireless connections I can connect to but I assume they're all someone else's in the block of flats that my parents live in :|

Any ideas of how to get my internet working?
