MC Harvey Is Number Six
15 Aug, 2012 - 9:52 PM by Mrluvaluva

Michael Harvey Jr aka MC Harvey is the tempestuous former member of So Solid Crew, reality star, self confessed womaniser and most recently, a proud father.

Harvey was one of the founder members of UK garage/grime collective So Solid Crew, their biggest hit was ‘21 Seconds’, reaching number one in the UK Singles Chart in August 2001.

In 2002 they were the subject of the Channel 4 documentary This Is So Solid. Cameras followed and interviewed members of the group to try and break the stereotypes.

In 2000, Harvey began dating Alesha Dixon, they married in June 2005.

Harvey split from Alesha following his affair with singer Javine Hylton in November of that year.

Despite a bitter end to their relationship, Harvey says he and Javine now have a healthy friendship for the sake of their three-year-old daughter, Angel.

A big football fan, Harvey supports Liverpool FC and was signed by the Conference South side St Albans City in 2007 but left because of work commitments.

Harvey claimed that he and Cheryl Cole once had a fling. He told Now magazine he had a relationship with Cheryl shortly after she split from her husband, Ashley in 2010. “I cracked up when people said she was with Derek Hough. I was like, ‘You’re so far off!’” Harvey claims their “fling” ended when she flew to the States for the US X Factor last year.

Cheryl vehemently denied the story via her twitter page asking Harvey “Are you smoking something?”

Harvey is quoted as saying, his daughter Angel has changed his life: “She’s the love of my life and is teaching me so much.”
