So tonight I discovered that the old Razzies ceremony threads from 2008, 2009 and 2010 have been mysteriously deleted from the forum. The explanation from the mods is as follows: "They were deleted by admin and mods for the drama that kicked off afterwards."

That's right - dormant threads from two, three and four years ago have suddenly been deleted for no good reason. Fair enough if they'd been locked for no further posts, but that's three years of effort from both me and you down the drain.

For FOUR YEARS there's been no major problems with the Razzies, but now it seems they're the biggest burden ever, and I'll be damned if I'm wasting any more of my time on a forum game that's clearly not going to see the light of day past December.

So, given this and the drama over the opt-out list, this year's ceremony is now cancelled - sorry to the majority of you who were looking forward to them.

It wasnt the mods that deleted them it was admin, so I can understand why it's pissed you off but it's pretty unfair to blame us.

It seems a bit silly and OTT to delete all the threads and not just Lock them or delete the posts that started the drama

I know the mods are generally very helpful and for that I'm thankful but when you don't know who's specifically responsible you tend to just blame the whole staff

No need for the tantrum. I gave you an answer, and a pretty reasonable one. You don't need to know who locked them (although now you do). You could just speak to James and ask him to unlock them.

I'm sure you'd be just delighted if every game you've ever run was deleted from the forum simply because they got a little heated

I don't care anymore, the point is they shouldn't have been removed in the first place

There was no problems with the 2008 and 2009 threads in 2008 and 2009, and the 2010 thread had already been moderated, locked and returned
