I have literally no idea how to play GTA online. I've tried like twice... ran around doing nothing... ran some people down for a laugh ... pretty sure that makes me a "griefer"?

If a police van is waiting for me to go past,
I drive fast into him
so Helicopters,
Swat stand outside of car and Police
are all after me
you have to drive fast but not crash into Cars
then after many miles
you Escape the Cops
Or you are shot Dead.

I have it for both PS4 and PC (as it came up in a steam sale for under £10) and still play it sometimes. I've completed it on both and did almost all of the side content on PC. Only the story campaign though... I've briefly tried online on both systems but can't really get to grips with it . Was just me driving around doing nothing until I got bored.

I've been playing GTA online since the first day and still play at least twice a week so I understand anyone's frustrations with the game

Firstly, story mode is one of the weakest if not the weakest of all . The characters simply do not capture the imagination and the over emphasis on the awful Trevor character, for me, is the reason why I have only completed the story once in four years. On the other hand I think the map is the best they've created and you really need to get into GTA Online to appreciate how much of the map they have utilised

Online is different much more interesting than story mode. It's frustrating, can be boring if you are a low level and you have to pick the events you enjoy and pretty much stick to them but once you progress thru the ranks the opportunities definitely open up. The biggest problem with Online is money - after the arseholes who like to roam around in jets and blow up everyone up -and all the over priced content you have to buy but I've found there are easy money making methods that I think are quite relaxing and certainly keep the money rolling in

The doomsday Heist will probably be the last big DLC before Red Dead 2 comes out it will be be interesting to see how Red Dead Online fairs against GTA online. For new players its probably a bit too late to get too deep into Online but give it a go it can be a lot of fun

Plainly it is a brilliant game and the game that created a seismic shift in terms of sales and reach. My eldest skived school on day one and we played it all day. I still play it as does smallest boy LT who completed it wen he was 8 or so. Brilliant game. I dont do missions, not interested, I just love random drives and police chases and customizing cars
