WTF is going on?

Add that to Redwater and Kat and Alfie have had 20 years worth of plot lines off screen whilst their visits to the main show are plot-free.

I would have understood the story if Ernie was burnt accidentally, Alfie blamed Kat and she then slept with some Russian guy because Alfie didn't want her

We know Kat has a history but after the whole Derek thing I thought she'd changed

It just re-writes positive story points for Kat

I honestly get the impression they’re going to completely ignore Redwater though? The fact that Yorke responded to questions about it and simply said “Kat got swimming lessons” says a lot

Redwater can be ignored but the main plots from it can't be, Zoe's twin and Alfie's tumour were plots started in the main show so can't just be erased?

They can forget the son was a killer priest though.
