The 2012 Diary Room chair has been revealed today ahead of the launch tomorrow night at 9pm. This years chair encapsulates and celebrates the Diamond Jubilee theme, in the style of a gold throne with royal blue seat covering, and is the centre piece of the new house. The room itself encompasses shimmering disco-ball inspired glittering walls in the forms of beaded strings against flock walls, which lend to a backdrop for the regal chair, in keeping with the Las Vegas glitzy theme. Possibly marking a shift from their usual darkness in previous series. Channel 5 commented: “With it’s gold frame and royal blue velevt seat, we’d like to think that is very fitting for the year of the Queen’s jubilee.” What do you think of the new Diary Room Chair?
