 David Potts emerged as the 2024 winner of Celebrity Big Brother during Friday night's highly-anticipated grand final, narrowly defeating Nikita Kuzmin who secured second place, with Colson Smith, Louis Walsh, and Fern Britton placing third, fourth, and fifth respectively. Overwhelmed by his victory, David expressed his astonishment and joy when hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best announced his name.  In his first interview on Late & Live, David discussed being initially judged by Sharon Osbourne and his friendships within the house, particularly with Bradley. He expressed his devastation at Bradley's unexpected exit during Thursday's show. Following their farewell dinner set up by Big Brother, the housemates spent the rest of the evening dancing, singing, and reflecting in the diary room. Louis reminisced about the unforgettable moments, Fern rediscovered her passion for television, and David urged everyone to "slay every day." Celebrity Big Brother attracted significant viewership, becoming ITV's top programme for viewers aged 16-34 in March. With over 14 million streams on ITVX, Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live consistently ranked as the top-performing title on ITV2 every night. Applications for the next series of Big Brother are now open, offering hopefuls the chance to participate in the ultimate social experiment set to air in 2024. |
