Sammy Winward: CelebBB Line-up Rumour

The Mirror is reporting that Emmerdale soap actress Sammy Winward has received offers from several reality shows, including Celebrity Big Brother. The actress has reportedly quit the soap opera, after 13 years, where she played the character Katie Addyman. The BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and ITV's I’m a Celebrity are also reported in signing her up for their next series. The newspapers quotes a source: "[Her exit from the soap] was only revealed last week and already offers have come flooding in." "Everyone is desperate to get Sammy but she will do only one of the shows." "She is actually quite a private person and doesn’t get a huge amount of exposure away from Emmerdale but after 13 years on telly she is a piece of soap royalty so whoever gets her will expect to pay a high price because she won’t come cheaply" The Daily Star reported that Emmerdale producers had offered her a pay rise on the £120,000-a-year deal she currently gets, to keep her on the show. The next series of Celebrity Big Brother starts in January and these are names of celebrities that have, so far, been linked with the show: Brian Harvey (East 17 singer), Chloe Jasmine Whichello (X Factor contestant) [reported turned offer down], Lisa Vanderpump (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills participant) [reported turned offer down], Austin Armacost (US Reality Show participant), Katie Hopkins (The Apprentice contestant & media personality), Patsy Kensit (actress and singer), Stevi Ritchie (X Factor contestant), Calum Best, and now Sammy Winward.
