Jedward appeared on Celebrity Big Brother 8 in 2011 Jedward have been signed up for the Celebrity Big Brother All-stars and New stars series starting on January 3rd 2017, according to the Daily Star. The singing-duo twins - whose real names are John and Edward Grimes - appeared previously on the first Channel 5 Celebrity Big Brother show in 2011, where they finished third behind Paddy Doherty and Kerry Katona. A source is quoted in the Daily Star: "Jedward caused chaos when they were in the house five years ago and viewers loved it. "Producers were really keen to get them back in because they know they're TV gold." "Jedward were really busy back in 2011. But these days there are less work offers. So CBB bosses were able to snap them up for a fraction of what they paid last time." "Producers have already got plenty of mischievous tasks lined up for the two of them. They know they'll be happy to cause trouble and annoy the other housemates." ----- Update - 9th December 2016 The Irish Sun quoted Jedward's spokewoman as saying they had not been approached yet by CBB, but would be interested: "It would be wonderful if John and Edward were asked to take part in Celebrity Big Brother but we must stress, they have not been approached." Jedward will be in the US after Xmas to prepare for the release of a new album, "They are finishing recording the record in LA which they will then be promoting on a tour. So look out for live dates." ----- Jedward first appeared on X Factor in 2009 and were reported to have been paid £1 million to appear in Channel 5's first Celebrity Big Brother. The 'All Star and New Stars' series will be made up of former housemates and new celebrity housemates. Other rumoured housemates for January 2017's Celebrity Big Brother are Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, Jasmine Lennard, James Jordan, Stephen Bear, Nick Bateman, Calum Best, Bianca Gascoigne, Frenchy Morgan, Malika Haqq [Keeping Up With The Kardashians], Ronnie O'Sullivan, Katie Hopkins, Lee Ryan, Perez Hilton, Nicola McLean, Katie Price, Danielle Armstrong and Nikki Grahame.
