The musical comedy series, which recently confirmed plans for a Madonna-themed episode, is to release an EP titled The Power Of Madonna.

We already know which Madonna songs will be heard on the upcoming Glee episode dedicated to The Material Girl.

Now, sources confirm to Entertainment Weekly which Lady Gaga singles will receive a choral makeover on the Fox smash. For starters, Rachel (Lea Michele) will sing "Bad Romance” and “Poker Face.”

“Lea does a very stripped-down version of Poker Face," said creator Ryan Murphy, adding that the actress will belt out a more elaborate version of “Bad Romance."

As for the storyline of the episode? Michele would only reveal the following:

“I do know that we’re all different Lady Gagas, and at one point I am the Kermit the Frog Lady Gaga... Everyone else has incredible Lady Gaga outfits and I have that one.”



Aside from the aforementioned (and pictured) Gaga special, Chris Colfer (Kurt) says the outfits certainly live up to the Lady's eccentric wardrobe selections.

“The outfits are gonna be incredible. All the costumes are outrageous and legit. I actually went to the tailor this morning who makes the real Gaga outfits. They’re going all-out," Colfer said.

We cannot wait.

Glee star Cory Monteith has revealed details of his criminal record as a Canadian teenager.

The actor, who plans Finn Hudson in the popular television show, admitted to Rolling Stone that his life on screen does not bear much resemblance to his own experience growing up.

"I dropped out of school when I was 14 to go ****** around with my friends and live a lifestyle of crime and pay no mind to authority figures," said Monteith.

"I wasn't killing people. I didn't hurt people. But I still think any minute I'm going to get fired and shipped back to Canada in handcuffs for stealing that car stereo."

Monteith said he had been arrested for petty theft and drunken episodes.

No, Hello is one of the extra nine episodes of season one, which fox ordered after the success of the first 13 episodes, which is why there was a break between them in the Us.

While the "Glee" gang was all smiles at the White House and on the set of Oprah in recent days, I have learned EXCLUSIVELY from a source in La-La-Land that all is not so gleeful at William McKinley High School. According to my snitch -- a former cohort of series creator Ryan Murphy who stopped working with him because "life's too short" -- the cast has sent an angry letter to Murphy saying that they are being "worked too hard" and that the situation is becoming untenable. While it may seem with such a huge ensemble cast no single person would be forced to work that much -- as opposed to, say, a Cybill Shepherd when she was "Moonlighting" and was in virtually every scene -- the actors state in the letter that when they are not filming the show, they are in constant rehearsals for dances and songs (the show's music is making a killing for Fox on iTunes), making countless personal appearances (Lea Michele is a ubiquitous presence at all things theater), working on the reality show to find the newest cast member, plus gearing up for a grueling tour, which is complicated by the fact that only Lea Michele and Amber Riley are actually capable of singing live at a performance-caliber level.

I'm told Murphy was irritated and dismissive of the cast's concerns, telling them: "I report to Fox, you report to me" and this is the schedule Fox has set, so "I don't want to hear it."

Yikes. Sounds like someone graduated from the Sue Sylvester School of Diplomacy to me. (Where's Mr. Schuester when you need him?) Whether this is just a ploy for more money or the cast truly is being overworked remains to be seen. But it took Glenn Gordon Caron 20 years to begrudgingly admit that forcing Cybill Shepherd to work till 2 a.m. and making her return to the make-up chair at 5 was unreasonable, so it's doubtful the truth will be known anytime soon. But it's awfully early in the game for this kind of drama -- Season 1 isn't even over yet.

Rachael/Finn Relationship Development:

Rachel and Finn's romance will reach a "temporary conclusion" by Glee's season one finale, executive producer Brad Falchuk has revealed.

Speaking to reporters during a conference call, Falchuk said that the duo's relationship remains an integral part of the show.

"The Finn/Rachel relationship is obviously a core to the show," he said. "It's something that’s really sort of important because it's the bridge of the two worlds that we were trying to put together [in the pilot], which was this sort of popular jock boy with this unique Glee girl.

"She represents Glee and he represents the rest of the world."

He added: "Sometimes it’s going to be him going after her and sometimes it's going to be her going after him, and they’re always going to sort of be watching each other from afar.

"I think by episode 22 of the back nine, we'll reach a really temporary conclusion to that."

Madonna has reportedly never heard of Glee.

The show has produced an episode based on Madonna's songs and the cast are planning to release an EP of their cover versions.

However, a source told Popeater that Madonna refused an opportunity to appear on the programme.

"Madonna doesn't have a TV and has no idea what Glee is," the insider said. "The show did ask her if she wanted to make an appearance in the much-hyped Madonna episode.

"She said, 'No thanks', and to be honest she would rather they sing an Elton John song than butcher one of hers."

Sue Sylvester, played by Jane Lynch, plays homage to to Madonna's 'Vogue' in a clip which premiered last night.

Madonna has reportedly never heard of Glee.

The show has produced an episode based on Madonna's songs and the cast are planning to release an EP of their cover versions.

However, a source told Popeater that Madonna refused an opportunity to appear on the programme.

"Madonna doesn't have a TV and has no idea what Glee is," the insider said. "The show did ask her if she wanted to make an appearance in the much-hyped Madonna episode.

"She said, 'No thanks', and to be honest she would rather they sing an Elton John song than butcher one of hers."

Sue Sylvester, played by Jane Lynch, plays homage to to Madonna's 'Vogue' in a clip which premiered last night.

The Material Girl caught a sneak peek the upcoming "Power of Madonna" episode of Fox's Glee, in which McKinley High's Glee Club reinterprets Madonna's classic songs of female empowerment.

Madonna, 51, tells UsMagazine.com exclusively what she thought of the tribute:

"I thought the Madonna episode of Glee was brilliant on every level. The dialogue and the entire script was genius. I completely appreciated the layers of irony, especially when all those macho boys sang 'What It Feels Like For A Girl.'

I also loved the fantastic performances of 'Vogue,' 'Express Yourself' and all the messages about the boys being respectful to girls.

The entire cast was amazing. They're all so talented. I especially loved Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) and Kurt Hummel's (Chris Colfer) characters. [Show creator] Ryan Murphy did a great job bringing all these elements together.

Glee is heading back into the groove with Madonna.

The afterglow from last night’s smashing (and highly rated) Madge-themed episode has barely dimmed and already series creator Ryan Murphy is talking to the Material Girl about a sequel!

Murphy confirms that he’s in discussions with M’s camp and that “Madonna and her people are into it and want it to happen.” The follow-up would air early next season and feature six more songs from the pop icon’s immense catalog of hits. (There’s talk that fans might be able to vote on which tracks should be used via a poll on Fox.com.)

The Glee-Madonna marriage has already reaped huge dividends for both the show and the star. Tuesday’s episode attracted a potent 13.5 million viewers, down just 5 percent from last week’s record-setting spring premiere. Additionally, the soundtrack from the ep is currently No. 1 on iTunes, and two of the singles are in the top 20.

Three backup dancers have reportedly been injured while filming scenes for the Glee season one finale.

According to E!, one of the dancers, Vivian Nixon, the daughter of award-winning choreographer Debbie Allen, collided with the camera.

The artists were apparently wounded during a taping on Wednesday night.

The dancers are now said to be doing fine. Executive producer Brad Falchuck is believed to have handed out first aid kits to the performers as parting gifts.

The dancers were shooting the upcoming showdown between New Directions and Vocal Adrenaline.
