I love country/folk, and I adore Neil Young. Probably my fav artist of all time.
That's a fantastic song... Dylan tends to divide opinion, but I think you'd have to be slightly crazy not to like Neil Young.

Probably shouldn't define it as easy listening music, because I sob a little everytime I listen to it in full. Williams has a way of channeling your emotions and releasing them, but I'm actually glad of it. Beautiful, soulful music.

I'm an admirer of Dylan but I adore Young. He goes far beyond poetry and strikes a chord deep within me.
Rumour has it that Dylan visited Young's family home just to see where he grew up. For me, Young has more soul and balls. The doesn't mean that Dylan isn't great though! Swings and roundabouts I suppose.

Just listen to the second part of the Lark Ascending. I don't think you can get more beautiful than that.

Vaughan-Williams seems to incorporate Eastern melodies into his music like Debussy did, but VW's music is distinctly English pastoralism.
Lark Ascending is great, although I have a weakness for VW's songs even more.

Pretty silly of me to be mentioning this, seeing as it became such a huge force in the entertainment world and a bit kitschy, but I have to admit that I loved it the first time I heard it during the Eurovision. Pity it became such a phenomenon.

Falling Slowly won the Oscar for best song, and although it's probably the better written piece of music - and that's nowhere near definite in my mind - I still think this is my favourite piece from the score, purely because of the moment it occurs in the film itself. Really powerful scene in the movie.

Ahh, actual country music. Must admit I've heard very little bluegrass. It sounds world's apart from the better known pop-with-a-southern-accent "country".

Strange choice to cast Perkins. I was about to say they were typecasting him until I googled it and found out it turns into a romance.. I quite like Bergman's dry delivery of "let me go, you're annoying me". Very nice theme. I think minor key melodies are often more interesting than in a major key.

Yeah, great stuff. I normally like his channel for the wealth of early music he uploads, he has more or less everything on there, except Wagner, who he hates. :p

I have to laugh, listening to this beautiful music and watching equally beautiful pictures (amazing), suddenly in the end, face of president appeared.
It is like waking up from nice dream to back to reality.
(His wife is lovely though)

I gather from his name he is a pretty big fan of the composer Giacomo Meyerbeer. The jewish Meyerbeer used to be a friend and mentor to Wagner, before Wagner turned against him and started writing nasty polemics against Jewish composers. Apart from Meyerbeer, this also included Mendelssohn.

I am extremely confused about the Meyerbeer1 chanel.
The name Meyerbeer is a name of composer who was born almost 200 years ago?

Sorry... I didn't mean to confuse you. Yeah, the composer and the guy uploading his music are two different people.

Wao I was surprised!
I was surprised because anybody would look the numbers. (joke!)
Thank you for letting me know that, fingers.
It was a very small scale but the other day I felt similar when I was writing a date, 10 9 10.
I will use your mentioned numbers to my next lottery tickets (if I do not forget to buy it )

To be honest I never noticed you until this one, except occasional classical music you posted.

Oh yeah... that must have been way before the start of BB11, lol. I'm really not happy it's autumn already to be honest.

I had this record when I was young, together with other seasons, part of popular classical music. (that is my standard.)
This morning I felt a touch of winter feeling!
