Exactly. He does not need her now. He knows perfectly well that a young woman would hope to have children. He has a child. So why was he shocked that Faye wanted children.
His wife gave a good interview on Aaron and dismissed many of the things he says. That is why Faye's family were so worried about her being used in this way.

We only see 45 mins out of 24 hours so we cannot say how much time Aaron spends with Harry.
